On October 25, 2024, the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India released the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standardsbariatric calcium pills and Food Additives) First Amevitacost magnesium citratendment Regulations, 2024. Food categories covered in the amendment mainly involve dairy products, fats and oils. The zinc gluconate 80 mgamendment shall come into force on May 1, 2025, except provisioferrous fumarate 324 mg tabns related to Fortified Rice Kzinc citrate 15mgernels (FRK), which shall come into force with immediate effect.
